THE EVENT EDIT

Terms and Conditions

Every event starts with an idea. Let’s bring it to the table.

Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Savourie website and the purchase of our products and services. By placing an order with Savourie, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, our Delivery Policy, and our Refund Policy.

Products & Availability

All Savourie products are handcrafted and made to order. Product photos are intended to represent our offerings; however, presentation, colours, garnishes, flowers, seasonal produce, and ingredient placement may vary.

We reserve the right to substitute ingredients with products of equal or greater quality when necessary due to seasonal availability or supplier shortages.

Product availability, pricing, and menu items are subject to change without notice.

Fresh Food

All products are prepared fresh and are intended to be enjoyed on the day of delivery.

Once an order has been delivered, the customer assumes responsibility for the proper storage and handling of all food items. Savourie is not responsible for the quality, freshness, or safety of products that are left unattended, stored improperly, transported by the customer, or consumed outside the recommended timeframe.

Delivery

Delivery times are estimates only. While every effort is made to deliver within the selected delivery window, delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refunds, or compensation.

Risk and responsibility for the order transfer to the customer once delivery has been completed to the delivery address or designated recipient.

Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information, including the recipient's name, address, phone number, buzzer number, access instructions, and any other necessary details.

Additional delivery charges may apply if incorrect information is provided or if a second delivery attempt is required.

For apartment or condominium buildings, deliveries are made to the building lobby unless otherwise arranged. Savourie is not responsible for delays caused by restricted building access, concierge policies, or unavailable recipients.

Allergens

Our products are prepared in a commercial kitchen where common allergens, including but not limited to dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, sesame, tree nuts, peanuts, seafood, and gluten, may be present.

While every reasonable precaution is taken, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens or cross-contact. Individuals with severe allergies or food sensitivities should carefully consider this risk before consuming our products.

Serving Sizes

Serving recommendations are estimates only and are provided as a general guide. Individual appetites and event styles vary, and Savourie does not guarantee a specific number of servings.

Custom Orders

We are happy to accommodate custom requests whenever possible; however, all customizations are subject to availability and approval. Once confirmed, custom orders may not be eligible for modification or cancellation.

Table Setups

Customers are responsible for providing a suitable setup location with adequate space and access. Parking, venue access, elevators, and loading instructions must be provided before the scheduled setup time.

Additional fees may apply if setup is delayed due to restricted access, venue requirements, waiting time, or inaccurate event information.

Force Majeure

Savourie shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or failure to perform resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, power outages, road closures, labour disputes, government restrictions, pandemics, or other unforeseen events.

Right to Refuse Service

Savourie reserves the right to refuse, modify, or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to circumstances involving product availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, abusive behaviour, safety concerns, or violations of these Terms & Conditions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Savourie's total liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order.

Savourie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of income, event disruption, inconvenience, or other costs arising from the purchase, delivery, or consumption of our products.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including photographs, logos, branding, graphics, product descriptions, and written content, is the property of Savourie and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

Privacy

Customer information is collected solely for the purpose of processing orders, communicating with customers, and providing our services. Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
